Warranty & Return Policy

At CarpeDiem’s Shop, we adopt the warranties provided by our suppliers. Please note that certain products, such as batteries, ECU units, and most electronic parts, do not come with a warranty due to the nature of our sport and the significant risk of emersion in water or water ingress in electronic components due to the conditions in which the boats are used.

We encourage customers to conduct thorough research before purchasing a product, as we do not accept responsibility if a product does not meet personal expectations. A product that functions within its specifications will not be eligible for return or replacement. If you are uncertain about the warranty coverage of a specific item, please feel free to contact us before making a purchase.

Returns & Warranty Claims

We accept returns for manufacturer-defective products and valid warranty claims under the following conditions:

  • Manufacturer Defects: If a product is defective upon arrival, please notify us within 7 days of receipt to arrange a return or replacement.
  • Warranty Items: If a product fails within its warranty period due to manufacturing defects (not user error or misuse), please contact us for further instructions on processing a warranty claim.

To initiate a return or warranty claim, customers must:

  1. Provide proof of purchase.
  2. Submit clear photos or videos demonstrating the defect.
  3. Return the defective item in its original condition (where applicable).

We will assess the claim and, if approved, provide a replacement or repair. In some cases, the product may need to be sent back to the supplier for further evaluation before a claim is processed.

Product-Specific Warranty Coverage

Kamo 360 Bait Boat

  • One-year warranty covering fiberglass workmanship only.

Specimen Pro Bait Boat

  • One-year warranty (excludes batteries).

Lipo Battery Policy

We thoroughly inspect all Lipo batteries before shipment to ensure balanced cells and low internal resistance. Upon receiving your battery pack(s), you have 3 days to check and report any issues.

If you are not happy with the results please contact us immediately to arrange an exchange of your lipo pack(s). Upon receiving your lipo pack and checking it/them you have 3 days to report its condition.

  • These lithium polymer battery pack are guaranteed, under warranty, against defects in materials and workmanship.
  • This warranty does not cover physical damage to the battery pack as the result of a crash, hard landing, improper mounting or any deformity caused by the user.
  • This warranty does not cover internal damage to the battery pack due to overcharging, deep discharging, or excessive discharge current.
  • We do not accept responsibility for injury, crash, damage, or loss of kits or accessories.
  • You must report any under voltage lipos upon the first charge.
  • You must report any imbalanced cells upon the first charge.
  • You must report high internal resistance upon the first charge.
  • Once the pack has been used with the above issues the warranty is void.
  • Packs are not warranted against modifications like changing the or original connectors. (By request we can do this for you)
  • All lipo batteries must be sent back to CarpeDiem’s Shop to undergo testing before any warranty claims are made, if the lipo pack is deemed to be faulty in anyway we will ship a replacement to you free of charge. In some cases we may have to send the lipo back to the supplier before a claim can be processed .

Battery Safety & Usage Guidelines

By purchasing Lipo batteries, the buyer assumes all risks associated with their use. Lithium Polymer batteries are volatile and dangerous if mishandled. Failure to follow proper usage and storage guidelines may result in fire, injury, or property damage.

General Safety Rules:

  • Store between 4°C and 26°C and avoid extreme temperatures.
  • Never leave batteries unattended while charging.
  • Do not puncture, short-circuit, or overcharge the battery.
  • Do not discharge below 3.2V per cell.
  • Dispose of damaged batteries properly using the provided instructions.
